Introduction
An all cab or cab blend tasting. There was a great deal of food which everyone brought as well as Mike's excellent host food.
16 people attended the tasting and were randomly divided into an upstairs and downstairs group. After tasting through their flight the bottles were switched between the groups.

My wife's WOTY was the 2013 Woodward Canyon Charbonneau and for for that was #2 and my #1 was the 2007 Meteor Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Perseid.

fruit forward, yet balanced with smooth tannins, rich cocoa and spice on the finish. Far better than the last wine. Wife - 93, Me -91

Small tasting pour.
I brought this to a cab tasting after decanting for 2 hrs. I tasted this about 30 minutes into the tasting and was very disappointed in the showing -- minimal fruit and complexity compared to what I know this wine is capable of.
However, another group of tasters who had it hours later said it was amazing.
So decant 4-6 hrs if you consume this now.

lot of fruit for Washington. Integrated tannins yet present. Dark chocolate, leather. Complex, earthy. Not one to pound quickly.

integrated, plum, leather, well balanced. Spice and acidity on finish. A well put together wine, but not one that was a wow for us.
