Quick note from memory: Popped and poured. Fresh and young, starting to develop classic Abtsberg notes. Drinkable, but I would recommend waiting 2-3+ years to develop more depth and complexity. 89-90+
Quick note from memory: Decanted, drunk over an hour. Beautiful Chardonnay at its very peak! Oak is now fully integrated, great Mineral core, very dense and deep. Intense and very long. Accompanied the fish courses very well. One of the very best German Chardonnays I have tasted so far. 94-95
Quick note from memory: Needs some temperature to fully unfold. Very precise, lean and mineral with time and air. Bone dry. Fine Mousseux, some fresh apple and lime notes. Long, refreshing finish. Still very young. 94+
Quick note from memory: Opened about 2h before drinking, not decanted. Beautiful Tondonia GR, very elegant and balanced, with a high, racy acidity. Lacks a bit of depth and complexity to be really great, but this is a first world problem. I would consider it now at its full peak. I will certainly stay on this level for years, but I highly doubt, that it will gain more complexity and depth. 93-94
Quick note from memory: One glass poured with Coravin. Unusual golden color and unusual orange notes (zests and fruit) in nose and palate. Very rich and deep, good acidity. Perfect match with the tangerine dessert, but not as complex as other Number Auslesen from previous vintages. Nevertheless really nice. 90-91
