In a Cologne restaurant. The ‘15 Mosel signature charming fruit married to a long tart well balanced finish is on display. A little ‘petrol’ lemon, lime and honey on the nose, and a fairly straightforward, slightly sweet palate with a hint of spritz. Honey and lime, but delicate, lithe even, and penetrating depth. Really quite good, complements dinner nicely (especially the Guinea hen).

Dinner with friends (Waldhotel Sonnora, Dreis, Germany): Quick note from memory: Popped and poured. Fresh and young, starting to develop classic Abtsberg notes. Drinkable, but I would recommend waiting 2-3+ years to develop more depth and complexity. 89-90+

Lovely but needs more time. Pale gold, plenty of lime and white peach. Some green herbs. Decent acidity, good length. Lovely balance. Will gain greater complexity with time.

Peach, apple, citrus, nice floral, well integrated sugar, good acidity. Bright. Lingering finish. Really enjoyable.
