The next saline 2015 bottle from one of the best estates/vineyards of the Franken zone,
clean stone fruit, more body than the MAGNUS, in a way an electric mineral chalky stone fruit cocktail,
bloody young showing still, with a Stelvin the wine is kept very fresh over a long period, one may like this or not, but it is obvious, long demanding finish, **(**- ?), around 92, 93 potential

this immense spice here, great floral hints, the fruit more on the white side, ripe pear, tension too, really great flow and very food friendly with the now served grilled dishes, chorizo in all styles!

golden coloured,
what a nose, ripe fruits, full load of brioche, almonds,
very well structured, juicy, creamy flow, lots of stone fruit then, nutty, and with a delicious long aftertaste full of tension,
the crowd emptied this bottle in new record time, that delicious,
shows again: a Champagne in big bottle and with maturation is best, even from the entry level section! An easy 93 for today

but 2012 only, enormous density here, quite young showing from big bottle that helps this time, but again:
this vintage of Dönnhoff Hermannshöhle GG is not really convincing me!

One of my two MAG´s:
hmmmm...... we are very lucky people tonight, a 40 year old bottle always is surprisingly unclear in offered quality before pnp,
but this time it works, dark cassis, well balanced, licorice, meaty flow, quite some finesse here,
from the age of the best filled Sociandos, memorable and I am grateful to be able to share such a bottle like this one in fine quality, enjoy!

and as nearly always from Bockenau: stunning!
Tension, tension, tension,
a battery of "StalinOrgeln" are firing at our palates, the smoke of this Riesling bottle could have been used to enlighten a fire......, NEARLY!
Again a razor sharp blade over the palate and in the long, very convincing aftertaste! An easy 95 for tonight, but more to come, I do guess!
