Great pics Noppakit, and a belated happy anniversary - my wife, Elsa, and I are celebrating our 5th anniversary this weekend! :)

We actually travel to Bangkok every year - would love to meet up with you sometime!

Thank you Paul,

Happy 5th anniversary, which wine you'll drink on that day?
Please share you pics here, Cheers !!

ps. When you go to BKK next time let me know. There are many wine-rookie friends in Thailand waiting to see and taste some nice bottles with you.

24.12.2013 @ Harvey, Thonglor ซอย 9 (ครบรอบ 1 ปีไวน์กงสี)

Jacquart Brut Mosaique NV : Great for the starter. 90-91/100

2005 Gaston Chiquet Special Club : Still young, clean but quite full in body. Needs 2-3 years to be soften. 93/100

2007 Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Clos de la Maréchale Blanc : Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier...Very interesting wine, changed bit by bit with time. Fruity from the start, then after 4 hours, it's clean with amazing mineral appearance. 93/100

2007 Meursault-Gouttes d'Or : Comte Lafon...Clean and fresh, beautiful wine. 93/100

2007 Grand Echezeaux : DRC...Wowww...very delicious. 93-94/100

2002 Nuits St Georges Les Boudots : Leroy...Bottle No. 958/2121, not much of Leroy's smell but very good balance and long sword finished. 96-97/100

2007 La Romanee : Comte Liger-Bleair...My 2nd bottle of 2007 and still very good performance at the moment. Super Great Wine !!! 94/100

" Merry Christmas 2013 to all friends "

If I were counterfeiting bottles, I would follow these guys around and pick up the empties. Better yet, pay one of the servers to do that for me.

3.1.2014 : 2008 Saumur Clos des Carmes " Monopole " : Domaine Guiberteau

Alcohol 14.5%

Very charming wine, from fruit changed to mineral, from sweetness changed to acidity, from powerful changed to beautiful, from lush changed to love, from love changed into passion.

Tropical fruits, white pepper, white/yellow flower, limestone, clean and fresh. Great Chenin Blanc indeed.

The promising !!!

Drink 2015 - 2045+.............97-93/100.............

I am with you on that, noppakit. I actually wish that it were socially acceptable to spit out wine at dinners and social gatherings, particularly where lots of different wines are being tried. I don't really enjoy the feeling of being drunk (a little tipsy is fine) and I certainly don't enjoy the feeling of being hungover. And alcoholism scares the crap out of me. So while I absolutely adore wine and the whole experience that surrounds it, I am very careful about how much I actually let into my body.

Nice dire straits reference. I used to play that song at piano/keyboard lessons when I was a kid.

2nd time of 2007 RSV : Leroy

Bottles No. 00003 buying from Japan shows more dense and great structure than a bottle buying from France.

A better barrel ???

Looks like a wonderful dinner and selection of wine.

I am curious about all of the efforts taken to protect the bottle and label with the plastic wrap and paper around the top. Do you save and display the bottles? I have thought about this for the special bottles in my cellar.

Lately my friend got 1979 Cheval Blanc back home and the wine leaks onto the label too bad. I just told him " Now you see, why I have to put tissue paper around its neck."

Buying wine in the summer time is too risky, this case always happen easily when the bottle's getting warm due to the transportation.

And yes, I collected all the empty bottles I drank. It's too many bottles now, I should stop collecting them.

But I still have to wrap every single bottle of my wines. I live to see the good label when have it on the table with food. Some friends love to take a picture as well.
