Hi All, I didn’t know Brad. We exchanged a couple of emails – that was the extent of our contact. When Scott approached me about doing a tribute to Brad, I took a few days to respond. I knew I wanted to do it. I just had to make sure I was doing it the right way. If I didn’t know Brad, why was I eager to do this project? Four reasons: he was a wine lover; he was a supporter of my winery; he was a friend to my other customers; and, from all accounts, he was a great guy. To me, the meaning of life lies in the connections and relationships we build, sustain, and treasure. It’s why I love being a part of these CT projects. You have built relationships from the ether, built around your love of wine, and, in many cases, these relationships have broken free from the shackles of cyberspace, and have been brought into real life. I would be a fool not to celebrate that. This project means a great deal to those of you who knew Brad. I didn’t know Brad. But, I celebrate his life and I celebrate the kinship you’ve fostered here on CT. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Holidays! Pinto
