Needs about 5 years. Might turn into a 93 or 94 in 5 years.

I have this noted as a "vendemmia", so I hope that this is the same wine.

Nose - Nice, round, elegant fruit with some tannin. Still a tad closed on the nose. Maybe abit more tannic than round, but still nice.

Palate - as above. Very drinkable now, but will be better in 5 years.

Nose - ample fruit. Typical pauillac nose. 95.

Palate - Medium body. Ample fruit. Pauillac typicity. 94 or 95.
Still primary fruit. A tad too much fruit. Not much maturity. But there is sufficient tannin for long aging.

Will be even better in 5 to 10 years.

Nice balance of mineral, acidity, honey, chardonnay fruit.
Initially a tad harsh. Needs atleast 1 hour, maybe 1.5 hours to attain balance.

Initial funk blew off after 1 hour decant.
Then nicely drinkable with sufficient fruit, integrated tannins.
Typical St. Julien but not as delicate as Leoville or Ducru.

Palate - full bodied, full fruited. Bitter (as distinct from tannic). Drying tannins. One dimensional. Might be a tad better with 2 hour decant.
Over priced. Not impressed. Surprised at JR review.

Fresh but still enjoyable pinot fruit. Decent balance for a 2011. Fruit is not too rustic. Reasonably balanced. Abit young, but the fruit is reasonably delicate. We be even better in 5 years. Good QPR at $35 Cdn.

Balanced nebolio fruit (not too full; not too light). Fine grained tannins. Somewhat tannic but still drinkable now. Very good QPR for a $45 wine. Will be a nice wine in 5 years. So 92 now; 94 in 5 years.

Nose - Typical lead pencil. Sufficient (not closed).
Palate - Typical but somewhat closed (abit tannic, relative to fruit)

Needs another 5 years, for tannin to recede, to be in balance with fruit.
