9/7/2014 - agbailey Likes this wine: 90 pointsgarnet in color with a bit of bricking at edge. Looks quite young for a 28 year old wine. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like mushroom, forest floor, black currant (cassis) and cranberry and a bit of saddle leather. Flavor profile leads with earthy flavors (mushroom, saddle leather / cedar and dustiness. Black currant cranberry as well. Medium-full body with a long finish and great acidity. If you have this one, drink now ... i don't see this getting better from here. |

Texture was very nice and the flavors were great, with a nice long finish. First aged bordeaux in a while, and a clear reminder of why it is sooooo good. Wish i had more, as this would definitely be one to seek out from my perspective. |

The wine was good then, though a bit funky. Yesterday night it was singing ... great acidity, some citrus, spice (clove?) and layers of other flavors. Definitely enjoyable. Color was a darkened / golden yellow. |
