Nevertheless, this is amazing, and despite the price tag, I think it’s still worth the money. There’s something special about a Selosse champagne - like a Krug, the bouquet is just unique and even my unsophisticated palette can identify it blind. Floral notes with well balanced acidity. Round, long finish. Love it |

It’s a lighter style of champagne with plenty of acidity and floral notes. But to me it’s a bit too simple and not enough complexity. I thought this would be as special as say a Selosse but my expectations turn to be ill-informed… while I would still gladly (sometimes illogically) bid up for a Selosse bottle, I find this to be somewhat overpriced relative to the actual quality of the juice. It’s well made, but not memorable |

Good acidity and freshness with a hint of mint. Floral and oaky, but not overly so. Creamy. Second time tasting this and it felt flatter than the first tasting (finish not as long)... perhaps because I tasted this in quarantine and had no choice but to pair it with room service nasi goreng? |

When we finished the meal after three hours, the wine was drinking beautifully and the lack of acidity was easier to overlook with other flavours more pronounced.
