The wine doesn't reveal itself until the next day where suddenly complexity appears and the structure becomes wider and lighter. THe structure is clearly there but time is of the essence here. |

Saturated cherry fruit palate - delicious but not profound. One for early drinking. Is it worth the premium over a good Langhe Nebbiolo? Probably not for my money. |

Undertone of dark cherry, strawberry jam, and prune - almost Primitivo- like. Sandy robust tannin and sharp acidity is giving good tension to above characteristics. 91. |

For being vineyard location Brunate, this wine is very affordable, approx. €47 in Sweden. Nice balance, wonderful tannins, roses, tar and red currants. 2018 is perfect now, but will live for many more years. |

Not a powerhouse like other vintages, rather a dancer, an athletic gymnast with both power and grace. The bouquet shows refreshing and fragrant with red & blue stone fruit, tar, lavender and some forest floor. More bright & blueish floral tones gain momentum with more air. Crisp acidity as well as good grip and tannic base. A beautiful, expressive 2014 Barolo. |

It opens up with a mix of dried berries, cocoa bean and sweet spices, carrying a an underlying sweetness. On the mid palate distinct balsam notes appear. The tannins are fine, integrated and support the overall smooth, rich character. |

The fruit spectrum shows a lovely ethereal touch, big persistence and a certain feel of weightlessness on the palate. The complex structure is evident, it's a wine that grows in the glass and will grow a lot in the cellar. Tart cherry, crushed berries, wet asphalt, black tea and a hint of chestnut mingle nicely with a mineral component. Packing finish. Can’t wait to watch this wines the upcoming years/decade. |

The bouquet is full of diverse flavors with cherry, dried berries, tar, espresso, some iron and tobacco. I like the mix of balsamic and floral components, as well as the juicy fruit and present punch the 2017 delivers. |
