Decanted via a sieve but still plenty of cork bits to contend with. Color almost inky after waiting a few minutes but taste was utterly silky smooth. Seemed very alcoholic in its effects, bTW. But taste of the wine was jammy and plum/grape. Another validator of wide opinion that 99 was a superb vintage for N California Cabernets. |
