Le lendemain (remis debout au frais avec le bouchon) l’air lui a fait du bien: il a gagné en équilibre et en précision. Ça demeure un peu plus fruité que le Chablis Village, évoquant pour moi un profil de Petit Chablis. |

Good acidity with some nice bitter grape phenolics on the long well structured finish. Much better from a wide bowled glass and has improved substantially since I sampled this a couple of years ago. |

To be honest a little disappointing, wine is very well made just missing something, notes of asian pear, white florals, crushed stones, fennel and white pepper. The palate was more delicate than expected with a Chablis (2020?) with plenty of succulent orchard fruits, sweet spices and a nice juicy mid-palate, finish with a little spice. Missing Chalky texture and brightness. |

On the palate, this is pure rock water, just how I like my Chablis, but this vintage can’t be compared to the more classic 2012, 2014 and 2017. It is not remotely as intense as those vintages. So 2018 makes a good cellar defender for those more intense vintages. Good, but not stellar in this tasting. 89-90 |

Of all the Pigs from 2022, this is the most fruit driven, the ripest and it has the most depth. Perhaps lacks a little minerality, although this does come through more on day 2. You could almost be in White Burg territory, but I think it is still true to its region. |
