The wine is likewise fruity in the mouth, with mercifully restrained acidity. No turbo-charged methoxypyrazine here. A mellow pleasure-giver more suited to summer than the first week of February in London. For immediate or short-term drinking. |

What follows is massive honeyed (but dry) richness combined with scents of Asian pear, with a lot of powdery juicy crunchiness - almost reminiscent of Jura Savagnin that underwent some oxidization (but not too much or not that heavy). The richest Chasselas I have ever had (but retaining salinity). A steal for just $20+. |

It’s certainly not bad enough that I can’t drink it, but enough for me to notice. |

The midpalate flavors lasted so long that they masked the acidity on the finish, which was there just hiding. The whole experience was ethereal--and total love at first sight for me.
