Excellent balance and structure, v. enjoyable mid-weight red -- more proof that these can stand some aging. Drink up.

Took brief notes after having the wine at a family member’s house. Roasted cranberry on the nose and palate with an herbal and green pepper quality. Very lean on the palate with a clear and delineated acidic backbone that mostly defines this wine. Not unpleasant but not a friendly wine for those looking for a bigger fruit experience.

Cherry, black cherry, cassis, and minerals coming through, with medium acid, body, and finish. Worked well with turkey day meal, if uncomplicated.

Not too complex, but not a bad Bojo for ~$12 on sale. Transparent garnet in color with aromas and flavors of bright red fruit, namely cherry and cranberry, and a bit of spice and mineral. Good Thanksgiving option.

Consumed over two evenings, both with a meal. Reconfirmed my impression that serious Beaujolais really should be allowed some time in bottle to settle down before consumption. This bottle needed about an hour to settle down at first, as for a bit it almost seemed to have VA. After it had settled down, it had strong acidity paired with tart cherry and cranberry along with prominent floral notes and a slight herbiness. No decline whatsoever on day two, which makes me think a year or two in bottle would be good for this. Not profound, perhaps, but a lot of wine for the money (15).

On opening, thin and overly acidic, but got better after time. Will wait for the next.

Nothing to recommend on this wine, not balanced, no fruit, no bouquet, consistent notes over 3 bottles. Much better Beaujolais' out there.

Nice nose of clean, well-ripened dark red Gamay fruit. Hints of earth, spice, and something savory. Well-balanced on entry, then a slight astringency (tannins?) comes in on the mid-palate. Finishes dry.

Tasted over 2 days - consistent over both days. Lots of simple, fruity Gamay here. Was hoping for some earthy and mineral elements but no luck. A little young Gamay wierdness going on as well. Ok, but didn't really enjoy it very much.

At least this bottle wasn't corked, but this wine was just plain flat and uninteresting. Maybe okay for cooking as it wasn't actually *bad*' just SO not good!

Almost white French Chard that starts clean and green with straw, grass and a hint of honey. All of these follow on the palette with nice acidity and a crisp sharp finish

After opening the bottle the wine appeared quite weak and dry with light but nice flavor, and it took a lot of aeration to open, gain structure and strengthen the body. It is simply very good Beaujolais with red swamp berries taste flavor with a little floral tone, rather light and rather dry, with enough complexity to enjoy it at any occasion (just give enough aeration time).

This needs at least an hour of air. Blueberries and earth on the nose. Dark fruits and savory herbs on the palate. Mid palate and finish are a little flat. Fruit dominates along with tannins that really dry out the tongue. Not rough but still need to integrate. Decent wine but lacking focus. If this had more acidity I would recommend aging for another 5 years-10 years. But it doesn't.

This is a really good "safe" wine. It's very satisfying and does everything it's supposed to do, significantly better than your standard Beaujolais, without being a complex or "interesting" wine. While it's not too heavy to be a beaujolais, it's not light either.
