This smelled like candied apricot without any overt or cloying sweetness. The palate was so rich and inviting (poached pears and spices) while still maintaining energy and almost dryness in the finish. It is frankly amazing how clean this drinks. Just a WOW wine at this point. |

Darker gold than you would expect for a 2015 white but very fresh. Stony minerality with some stone fruit flavors. Not a lot of range. Paid $15, prefer it for around $10 or less. Personally, I'd rather pay a few dollars more and drink AOC Chablis any day of the week. There is a sameness to many Italian whites that leave me wanting. I'll keep exploring Italian whites but rarely find one to fall in love with. |

Great nose, tobacco, licorice, mineral, pepper and more flavors I couldn't nail on a vibrant, at most, mid weight frame. Just terrific. If hadn't already gorged myself on Nita's spaghetti I could have drunk a mag of this with it. Great stand alone or with food. Really classy wine, drinking more like an expensive Brunello with age on it. Ready to go right now and stunning sangiovese for the price. 92+ AlC 13.5%. Cheap rubber cork does not reflect on how good this is but very cool that its a "ready for primetime" wine, right now. Going back for three more soon. |
