Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, strawberries & mulberries with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes, leather, tar, minerals, herbs & a hint of cedar in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, plums & strawberries with herbs & minerals. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but should develop further with additional aging. A lovely Chianti with a very good QPR. |

Smooth and polished with medium-intensive tannins that are of very good quality. Great acidity. Medium length. Very savoury and velvety Chianti Classico, without excessive oak or jamminess. It has everything I would expect from a bottle of good genuine Chianti. |
