10/4/2022 - sid_loves_wine Likes this wine: 93 pointsVery very tasty- sure, it tastes very similar to a lot of other extra natty wine and one would probably never be able to guess where it's from or what the grape is, but I liked it a little better than the average cute natty red- partially because of the low price, partially because it lasted just fine into the second day (kinda rare for the style), and partially just because it was really really good, incredibly perfumed with bright and salty red fruits, some little twinge of herbal earth, and held together with really balanced acidity that was bright but not puckeringly tart. Tasted like fruit juice, but I've had much more expensive wine that also tasted just like fruit juice, so this is a win. |

The color of a sunset, this pours a slightly hazy copper salmon. On the nose it’s white flowers and stone fruit. On the palate, it’s ripened apricots, peach skin, rhubarb and bitters. Finish is lasting. Balanced. Works with simple meals. I truly hope Valentina has nothing to do with her Father’s (allegedly) shitty business practices. A truly compelling quaffer. |
