They own 18 ha spread across 40 parcels. 100% Chardonnay from their oldest Chouilly Grand Cru vines in the Cote des Blancs which are planted on shallow chalk soils. 6g/l dosage. I previously had the 2007 and 2008 vintages of this wine and this 2012 was the best. Light yellow color. Moderate bead. Cotton candy nose. Very bright on the palate with notes of chalk and almonds. 94 points. |
