Perfectly tasty, by no means shocking, precise Riesling. Over time some more interesting red-fruit adjacent notes come in, with an unripe strawberry kind of situation. |

Maybe, it won‘t reach the generous heights of some tasters‘ opinions (WA 94), but it is a very good, bone-day riesling with lemon and lime notes and a strong mineral backbone. Some reductive notes (not disturbing), will develop further, 91+. |

2/16/2024 - uncorked.fr Likes this wine: NRSuper vibrant and fresh but there is a lot of minerality here on both the nose and palate so if you like your riesling really fruity, this may not be an ideal pick for you. That being said, this is already drinking very nicely but I do think that it would stand to benefit from a bit more time in the bottle. If you're looking for something that is more ready to drink right now and/or is more approachable, the Unplugged 2021 from the same producer is pretty damn awesome (and also more fruity, if that is what you're into) but both are bone dry. |
