No notes. Not decanted. Quite tannic initially but after 30-45 minutes hard edges softened. Full-bodied. Not sure if it will improve but no indication of decline. Very good (so low-90s according to CT guidance, I suppose).

A small glass using Coravin. Served at 12C. Swirled in the glass and drank immediately, with fresh bread and a few Moroccan olives.
More straw than gold. Appealing bouquet that, unhelpfully, I couldn't quite distinguish. Initially on the light side, took on considerable weight in the glass. Rich and complex flavour profile with a long finish.
I have little experience of twenty year old white Rhone, but this seems mature without being at all tired.
95 ('Grade A - Outstanding')

No notes. One glass only. Opened about an hour before drinking. At odds with most CT notes. Good nose. Medium bodied. Good fruit. Classic mature Burgundy. Perhaps past its best but by no means in terminal decline. Not good at the out-of-100 metric, but I thoroughly enjoyed this.

Single glass using Coravin. PnP and then drunk over 45 minutes or so. Similar experience to drwine2001's excellent note from 2019; although oak/wood not especially prominent on this occasion.

PnP. No notes. Initially appeared past sell by. After an hour or so in glass, showed marked improvement. Really enjoyable mature expression of CNDP, but perhaps best to drink up any remaining bottles over the next couple of years.

Single glass from last bottle of 12. Used Coravin. 30 minutes air at most and consumed within an hour. Super smooth. Full-bodied. Great wine from 'vintage of the century' (when that still meant something).

First go at this wine. Single glass (well, glass-and-a-half) using Coravin. Drunk over 30 minute or so period. Full colour. Completely integrated, rich flavours. Long, long finish. On this evidence, plenty of life left. Beautifully-constructed wine.

From 75cl bottle. 1st of 6. A revelation. Previously sampled from Coravin. Wine lacked body and appeared past its best. This time opened and decanted two hours before drinking. Nose still a bit funky but much heavier mouthfeel. Good fruit. Long finish. 91/92

PnP (using Coravin). No detailed notes. Very enjoyable accompanying pizza with porcini. Surprisingly full-bodied (compared to previous experiences) right out of the gate. Well integrated. Vintage may be at the back-end of drinking window but this was still really good.

Better experience than other tasters here. Some bricking. As noted before, terrific nose when pnp. Initially thin on palate and little in way of finish. After about an hour in the glass wine transformed. Medium bodied, good fruits, ok finish. Plateaued [sic] for sure, probably best to drink up. Not great but enjoyable mature Burgundy.

Single glass by Coravin. Similar to Cannym's previous notes. Drunk at 'cellar' temperature, not chilled. Not sure if it has peaked but still very enjoyable.

Excellent Tignanello from one time 'vintage of the century'. Two glasses from Coravin/rest of bottle PnP over course of ninety minutes later the same day. Ruby colour. Good nose. Medium finish. Excellent with charcuterie. Somewhat overwhelmed by steak and bearnaise. Great wine. No need to hurry with this.

Having read previous notes was nervous about trying this cellar relic. In fact, turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Initially thin, it opened up remarkably within 30 minutes. Surprising fruit if clearly a little too old. Probably best to drink up any remaining bottles.

Decanted one hour in advance. Initially restrained in the glass. Opened up after 15 minutes or so. Perhaps needed longer decant. Well integrated and medium-bodied. Complex flavours in mouth followed by medium length finish. Excellent now and no signs of deterioration since previous drinking previous bottles.

Really enjoyed this wine. Opened about 60 minutes before drinking but no decant just some air in the glass. Dark red. Good nose. Lots of fruit in the mouth but nicely integrated. Long finish. Still seems to have plenty of vigour. Classic and classy Californian Cab.

(At Bocca di Lupo, London). Opened but not decanted 90 minutes before drinking. Red to brick-red colour. Long lees. Perfumed rather than powerful nose. Excellent integration. 10-15 second plus finish. No marked development over the course of drinking. Outstanding wine: worth the wait.

Popped and poured. Almost sherry-like colour. As noted by a previous taster a delicious and strong dried apricot note on the nose. Sadly not matched by taste which was curiously insipid. Started to open up a little in the following hour. The bottle wasn't properly chilled (by our hosts) so I will refrain from rating this.
