8/13/2019 - rbeers Likes this wine: 99 pointsThe color is still dense red center, very slight orange rim. Beautiful cherry, plum and blueberry, tea on the nose. On the palate , beautiful balance, seamless, complex. I am so glad glad I opened this now even though it will continue to evolve for years. One of the best wines I have ever had! |

12/3/2011 - rbeers wrote: 92 pointsColor red with slight brick rim, with very nice nose better after several hours open and aerator, primarily black fruit and cherry, vanilla and cedar. Palate was complex with currant, cherries, vanilla, tobacco, pine, and chocolate and more, with long layered finish, balanced except for slight heat, nice texture. I think this wine would age at least 5 more years and continue to improve. Was saving to drink with my son who lives out of town, and we both agree that this is a quality cab, and do not understand the WS 83 score. This , however, is what makes wine so fun to me! |
