2/20/2022 - winestem Likes this wine: 92 pointsA great surprise—at least to me! I expected this 20 year old wine to have started bricking and lightening in body. But no such things happened. Lovely dark and deep purple color, cassis and plenty of tannin. This wine drank more as an adolescent than an adult. |

4/4/2020 - winestem Likes this wine: 94 pointsStill amazing after all these years. Kept in a colder cellar with temp closet to 50 than to 55, color is still amazing dark purple, fruit still there in abundance, and the finish still there to remind you there’s plenty of life yet! Sadly, my last bottle. |

4/16/2015 - winestem Likes this wine: 90 pointsOnce again, a really impressive, full-bodied wine which, if you didn't know its price, would be a good heritage. But when you look at the price you hit yourself on the head and say "D'oh!" Or at least I did. Dark, dark fruits, lots of tannin, a whiff of cocoa. But I'm not going to weep because this was my last bottle. |
