9/18/2023 - graemeg wrote: NR{screwcap, 12.5%} I was a little worried this might be too old, but the colour was still a pale yellow, and the nose is still fresh enough; green herbs, grass, perhaps a bit of green bean which is more pronounced on the palate. Which is fruity, but always with the touch of green. A bit of tinned vegetable, perhaps, suggesting drinking young would be better. Light-bodied, no oak, even palate, with a tiny sweet of lemon curd richness at the end of the finish after a bit of air exposure. Medium length finish. Ready to drink. Big surprise - you don’t think of India first when you think of savvy b. |

12/25/2021 - TannicBeast Likes this wine: 88 pointsMy first wine from India! Pale straw with a silver hue. Med aromas of grapefruit, lemongrass, gooseberry, green apple and lime. Dry, with med acid, med alcohol (13%). The palate is consistent with the nose, with med body, intensity and finish. Surprisingly good typicity and seemingly a moderate climate New World SB. Probably should have drank it a little earlier Drink now, not intended for aging. |

12/1/2019 - Matt@5453 Likes this wine: 88 pointsServed blind. I guessed it as a cheaper NZ Sauvignon Blanc, much to my surprise on the reveal...A nice aromatic nose with the palate showing gooseberry, herbaceous tones, a touch grassy. A hint of sweetness, no obvious acidity. Very easy to drink. |

Citrus, underripe gooseberry, bell pepper, grassy and herbaceous notes, with lively acidity and average length. Light to medium-bodied, with average concentration and limited complexity. Very refreshing. |

Pretty much the same tasting notes as our previous bottle on 2/16, but this bottle was served a bit warmer. The good news was that the tropical fruits, and some green apple were more prominent. The bad news was that the acidity seemed more prominent and led to a slight harshness on the finish. Definitely made to be consumed young. |

On the palate though, the tropical fruit flavors are as prominent as the herbaceous, grassy notes, indicating that this is a SB from a warm climate. The wine has medium to minus body, with good acidity, and a medium to minus finish. Overall, rather simple, but with reasonable typicity. Not made for aging, so drink up soon. |

5/31/2014 - Paul S wrote: 80 pointsNot great. The nose was simple but not unpleasant, with grassy gooseberries and citrussy limes that were quite classic Sauvignon Blanc. The palate was similarly simple, with limey, zesty flavours at the fore. This was a big wine though, especially when not chilled that well, with fat alcoholic notes that the otherwise decent acidity could not mask. Some Indian spice than emerged on the finish. While not disastrous, this was not all that enjoyable to drink either. |

4/28/2015 - Jason Does not like this wine: NRTasted in Bangalore. Nose is a mix of Paaz egg coloring and that smell you get from a garbage disposal when you don't run it for awhile. I hope something is wrong with this bottle but the nose is dreadful. |
