From 375ml. Nicely evolved in terms of colour. Expressive nose, medicinal notes, apricot, botrytis spice, caramel. Quite savoury on the palate, great acidity, good mouthfeel, great balance and depth. Persistent and vibrant finish. Delicious. 94-96

Tasted next to 2014 Lynch Bages. The Cabernet Franc is showing on the nose - there is a hint of tomato leaf greenness, nicely mixed with plummy fruit, spices. Quite open and expressive on the palate as well, layered and well-balanced, nice grip, fresh and generous at the same time. Lovely vibrancy to the finish, very long. Super elegant and fine. Drink or keep. 94-96

2014 Château Lynch-Bages

Tasted next to 2014 Vieux Chateau Certan. Dark in colour, surprisingly open on the nose. Dark fruit, spices, earthy notes, graphite. Possibly lacking a bit of the concentration of the best years, still very accomplished, elegant and balanced. Still a little firm towards the long finish. Well made. (Drink or) keep. 92-94
