So there's a price bump this year ($25 to $32!), but the wine seems to take a step in the people-pleasing direction with a bit more fruit up front and the salt/acidity dialed down a bit. So it's pleasant, but just not remarkable.

AG and I must have been drinking different wines. This felt muted except for the singular cough medicine note. Could have been a beauty if that darker bitter flavors weren’t so dominant.

You had not liked the 2021 compared to previous vintages and it seemed to be an off vintage to me as well. I'd been holding my 2022's as the spring club notes had a bottle shock warning, but decided to open one tonight as it has been about 3+ months. Seems to be a version to normality now - at least for us, we are enjoying it.
