1/19/2016 12:20:00 PM - Hey-Thanks for your advice on wines-it is really appreciated. Over $70 is no problem---just need to buy more wines not in the $150 and up range for most of this year so parties I attend where everyone is not a wine nut like myself can enjoy and I do not have to open the wallet that far open:) Dave
12/3/2015 12:46:00 AM - Nice website! Minimalistic, clean and quite beautiful bottle design. Excellent reviews. Got me to tip Gunnar Nordgren about you. He co-founded Divine AB, a Swedish wine importer working with for example Harlan Estate. (Don't judge 'em by their webpage.) He said he'll look into it. I need him or someone else licensed to start importing your wines here to be able to taste them in the foreseeable future. Something I'm keen on doing.
8/11/2015 7:37:00 PM - Hi - I just noticed your friend request. I perused your website and it is an impressive resume of people. I remember Craig (if he is still there based on comment from Parker) from my 2 decades plus in the Phelps Preferred Program. I'm curious about your wines and would love to learn more. I just have to see if I want to join another wine list in either Valley. Would like to know more though.
2/10/2015 3:03:00 PM - hal0, Thanks for the questions. The combination of historic-meets-modern setting, winemaking & vineyard expertise, and obsessive, step-counting detail in all endeavors make us unique. Our website video helps summarize these focal points. Pricing will be released during our first offering on March 4th. Thanks again.
1/20/2015 8:12:00 AM - Hi JimN, thanks for the note. We are not yet open (scheduled for October). Let's plan on a tour/tasting in 2016 when you're in Napa, assuming you visit 1x/year (?). Email: info@sinegalestate.com. Talk soon.
1/20/2015 - Just saw the info on your new winery. Looks interesting. I live in the UK but I'll be in Napa the first week of February. Are you open yet for visitors?
12/1/2014 9:16:00 AM - Hi Chrisinroch, That is understood. We will be populating our cellar in the coming months and will document as we consume, share, etc. We are just trying to get connected with a community of like-minded wine drinkers as an entry point. We do appreciate and respect the integrity of this platform. Thanks for the note.
12/1/2014 9:11:00 AM - Hi dead puddle, No - not yet. We're just getting started and our first vintage is 2013 (due in 2015/2016). International distribution is currently being discussed. Thanks for the interest.
12/1/2014 9:10:00 AM - Hi bestdamncab, that is great. Thanks for the note. If you could, please email info@sinegalestate.com and we can arrange a future tasting. Take care.
12/1/2014 9:06:00 AM - Hi timdrex, In a nutshell: We are aspiring to make some of the finest wine in Napa Valley (and beyond) via an expert team with obsessive practices. Our historic property, once home to the Wolf Family, is currently under construction. A new tasting room, terrace, and cave system are all being added in the next 12 months. Our first vintage is 2013, consisting of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, and Sauvignon Blanc. We are opening in late 2015.
12/1/2014 9:05:00 AM - Hi Dexter Morgan, thanks for the note and interest. Ha re: Costco - great loyalty! Our first release is coming in 2015 via mailing list 'futures.' We'd be happy to add you ourselves or feel free to join online. info@sinegalestate.com. Our first vintage: 2013.
11/29/2014 3:15:00 PM - You have no wine, no tasting notes and have added nothing to Cellartracker except a bunch of friend requests for marketing purposes. I don't think you understand what this place is all about.
11/27/2014 5:05:00 AM - Thanks for the request Sinegal Estate. You can also check out our website Wine-Topics.com. We try to visit Napa at least twice a year and would love to come by and taste your wine next time out. Cheers!
11/26/2014 7:41:00 PM - Would you please send me a few bottles of your offerings so I can post my tasting notes on CT. If it helps I've been a loyal Costco customer for 20 years. Just saying.
11/26/2014 12:36:00 PM - Hi, Dave. Thanks for the note. I think 'approve/ignore' appears just beneath your profile image on the upper left side of your profile page. We look forward to interacting with you.
11/26/2014 9:27:00 AM - About once per year, although this might be my last for a while - new family member arriving next year! Wouldn't mind a little construction dust. :) I'll reach out via your website to see if that's possible.
11/26/2014 8:29:00 AM - Nick, you're welcome. Thanks for the note. We are currently under construction, with a projected opening in late 2015. How often are you in Napa?
11/26/2014 6:42:00 AM - Thanks for reaching out and the friend request. I will be in Napa in just a couple weeks. Any way we could stop by the newest place in the neighborhood? Would love to meet you, learn about and taste your wines.
11/25/2014 4:02:00 PM - Thank you, {Parnelli}. We look forward to sharing our wine and property with you. Our opening is scheduled for Q4 2015. We will conduct tours and tastings by appt. only. Talk soon.
11/25/2014 2:41:00 PM - Looking forward to hearing about the wines and experience at the recently purchased Wolf Family property. Looks like an All-Star team in place so now I'm looking forward to visiting in spring or summer, 2015.

Damn good, not too ripe, give it at least two more years, raspberry compote and spices, good acidity.

1996 Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste

Showing quite well. Lots of red currant holding up the darker fruits, minerality, but oxidized quickly. Drink now IMHO

The nose was a little closed, but the palate made up for it.
