This wine comes from a warm terroir with a “complantation” of Riesling, Pinot Noir and Gewürtztraminer. This is a very tasty charmer in an off-dry style with the minerality of the Riesling, the body of the Pinot Noir and the exotism of the Gewürtzrraminer. It has medium length and is ready to drink. With slightly more freshness it would have scored a point higher. Drink it now or over the next 5 years. |

Not sure what those are. "There are seven primary grapes of Alsace: Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Sylvaner, and Muscat." The other six? Likely Chardonnay, Chasselas, Auxerrois Blanc, and Klevener de Heiligenstein. That's four. The other two? No idea. At all. But this is gangbusters. I have no idea the percentages here, but the Muscat and the Gewurztraminer really come through on the quite aromatic nose. A bit sweet aromatically with a mineral aspect that balances the richness. The palate is fruity, tart, and comes off a bit sweet as a result, but this is a really fun wine, and down-right tasty. |

On Day 1 when i drank a couple of glasses, it should nice off-dry character with good supple acidity but the wine lacked any character to enjoy it. I let it be and drank the rest of the bottle after 24 hours (i left the bottle for most of that time in room temp) and on Day 2 it really became a pleasant wine with lovely white flower/fruit character and maintained its structure. It was generally loved by my guests but nothing wow. |

At first, very simple and straightforward but after being open for a while / in your glass, it evolves and reveals itself. Apple juice is the primary here, but large mineral notes persist and grapefruit and orange reveal themselves as well. A hint of something green as well. This is a great wine, for my other bottles I would like to see where they evolve from here vs. drinking them this early |
