-med acidity, med/med- weight loose-knit meandering remnants of cassis fruit with mature notes sneaking in; thick earthy med tannins and a whisper of sweet oak on the finish
-a little less structured and more advanced than the last couple bottles

-well-balanced, on mature plateau, may have been a bit more charming a few years ago with more fruit but might also get really interesting if tertiary notes develop

-this is excellent and fully mature now

-great complex aromatics, lightweight shell with some mature red fruit essence finishing with a just a little too much oak giving a sweetness to the finish, fully mature but not old

-nice Burg funk mostly blows off leaving fragrant iron red fruit earth
-med acidity, med weight envelopes the palate with earthy slightly tart black cherry iron fruit that is just starting to fade a bit, med tannins and the faintest of oak spice on the long finish
-a bit burlier but also more complete and better balanced than all the 1er crus, showing its proximity to Morey, drinking well now with some air but still early on its mature plateau

-good complexity and power without weight though overall I slightly prefer the Charmes at this stage; I don't love this as much as I think I should

-a little funk blows off to show decently expressive full ripe black cherry and red currant
-med/med+ acidity provides some tang to the finish, med/med- weight silky sappy black cherry earth unfurls after a couple hours, med/med- tannins
-more substantial and a bit darker fruit than the village wine, no surprise a little more youthful too - this is early on its mature plateau, lovely
