I was expecting a little bit more, soft palate and a little bit of cedar, could use a bit more acidity, as the night progressed the tannins began to show, revisited the next day and it was gone. Lacking in intensity. Ok, but not great

very ripe, at first showing quite a bit of alcohol and exotic flavors. Fruit opened up and became more floral covering the alcohol. After a bit there was some purple marker on the nose. Definitely mature, but not oxidized.

Tons of sulfur with a really ridiculously long cork. Couldn't get much with all the sulfur, left the bottle out until lunch the next day... really pure, great citrus acidity, pear, apricots. Really nice wine

Very aromatic and floral. Drank well out of the gate at lunch, lots of pear and peach. Very pure with light acidity. Then the oak began to show through big time and out came the tannins. Best to let this settle down for awhile.

Out of mag - a little oxidative, very nutty, lots of hazelnut and butterscotch. Very fine bubbles, improved in the glass over the course of a few hours. Not my favorite vintage of Krug but a very good champagne.

Drank at the Studio - definitely no sign of premox, light in color, tons of wet stone and minerality. Less fruit, more white flowers and citrus acidity. Good structure and incredibly pure and flashy (less lean). Really great example of the vineyard.

Surprisingly shut down. At first some really tart acidity, but after a few hours the wine began to open and cover the acidity, showing some rich honeysuckle, botrytis, and a touch of oak. A beautiful wine but not in a good place at the moment.

Really young and tight. Good acidity, soft tannins, ripe young fruit. Lots of black licorice, tobacco, cassis, baking spices and vanilla. This was a perfectly stored bottle and has plenty of time before its ready.
