2001 Ardente Cabernet Sauvignon, Atlas Peak, Napa Valley 750ml

Ardente Cabernet Sauvignon is a dark, ruby red wine of extraordinary complexity with sweet notes of chocolate, cassis and espresso roast along with supple tannins, full body and a fleshy, concentrated style. The selected grapes used in this wine were grown at Ardente vineyard off Atlas Peak Road in the Napa Valley, at an altitude of 1500 feet. The vinification was performed in 225-liter French oakwood barrels. The result yielded 840 cases of "unfiltered" Cabernet Sauvignon wine.
