WINEMAKER NOTES:
Big cherry cola, blackberry, clove and cassis brought together riding a viscous and velvety structure built for food.
This is Dunham Cellars first “Merlot” and it definitely deserved to be bottled on its own showing how great Washington Merlot can be!
VARIETAL: 100% Merlot
VINEYARD: Lewis Vineyard
BARREL AGING: OAK: 80% French - 20% American, 70% new oak - 30% used oak;
TECHNICAL INFO: PH: 3.72; T.A.: 4.8 g/L; SUGAR: Less than 0.2% residual sugar; ALCOHOL: 13.8%.
