The Wine Society: François Despagne, the very likeable owner of this historic property, believes that his 2020 is amongst the best wines he has ever made. He has turned out a beautifully polished, generous Saint-Emilion that has maintained admirable freshness. This year’s blend is three-quarters merlot with the balance cabernet franc and a tiny splash of cabernet sauvignon for seasoning. A splendid result and great value for money.
