Winemaker’s Tasting Notes
Our 2001 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has a medium ruby color and an expressive nose of blackberry jam, nutmeg and sandalwood. It has an excellent fruit-sweet attack, full body and an extremely long, rich finish with moderate tannic grip. This wine will continue to improve through 2027 given proper cellaring.
