  April 12, 2021 - Opened this split and left it sitting for an hour before pouring into the glass. Nice deep color, but not opaque. I noted a smokiness in the aroma that I liked a lot. Cherry, tobacco and a definite earthy character are all quite good for my nose and palette. I found the tannins not overwhelming, but notable. I really enjoyed this wine. Drank accompanied with bistro steaks.
