November 29, 2022 - Decanted to pour off of residue in bottle. Ready to go. Massive nose of sweet stewed cherries and blackcurrants. Mint and espresso as well. Terrific drink on its own. Food definitely muted it. We had smoky bbq brisket and all the sides and that swamped this wine. Moved over to a Pilsner for rest of the meal and then savoured the rest of this wine afterwards all evening long.
