December 3, 2022 - What can you say that hasn't already been said about such a storied wine? It was everything you'd want from a perfectly-aged claret. Cedar and spice and leather on the nose. Graphite, black fruits, leather on the palate. This was the platonic ideal of a Pauillac wine.
One point deducted because the cork split in half and partially disintegrated, even when gently using an ah-so.
