December 21, 2022 - Amazingly aged barolo - love it! Not the best year in Piedmont, but I think this wine still has some aging potential in it. Excellent tannins provide a strong structure for the wine from the 'mouth entry' to the finish, which is long and velvety.

12/22/22, 10:55 AM - Thanks for the note, how did you drink this? decanted? open in bottle for a while before serving?
I have a bottle in the cellar that I'm thinking of getting into soon

12/22/22, 5:24 PM - I did not decant it as I was planning to drink it over a couple of days or so. It stayed in the bottle. Sure, let it breath for an hour or two before drinking if you are planning to see the bottle's bottom on the same night. :)
