  December 25, 2022 - This is everything a good Cali Cab should be. I was really surprised at how good it was; usually the wines I receive as Christmas gifts are mediocre at best. But not this one. A whiff of cassis and spice on the nose. Very dark color. On the palate, this wine displays excellent depth and a nice balance of dark fruit, acidity, and earthiness. Finishes smoothly. Quite dry, fairly austere in character. Perfect wine to drink with a juicy steak, but tasty enough to drink on its own. Highly recommend.
