    December 26, 2022 - 92% Sémillon - 8% Sauvignon Blanc
    from 15 ha of limestone clay soil at the top of the Barsac plateau
    with vines of average age 50 yrs.
    Manual harvest with multiple passes. Fermentation in barrels
    separately for each parcel and each pass. Preliminary blend in 3 months.
    Aged ~12 months in barrels.
    13% Abv.

    Background: The property dates back to the 19th century.
    Bought by George Dubourdieu in 1924, then from father to son:
    Pierre, Denis (1949-2016). The latter took charge in 2000 while
    being a professor of enology as well as renowned winemaker.
    Proprietors: Sons Fabrice and Jean Jacques Dubourdieu (4th gen)
    since 2016

    A(ccuray)=2: Bright yellow/gold. Gently botrytised nectar.
    B(alance)=3: Distinctive components in harmony.
    C(omplexity)=2: Peach, apricot, honey, ginger, almond.
    D(epth)=2: Suave mouthfeel. Full palate and lingering finish.
