February 17, 2023 - I am, once again, amazed at this wine and how it is so alive for a Cru Bourgeois and 22 years old. Very soft and round, no tannins, but with plenty of nice red fruits, quite present in the nose and mouth but also nicely balanced and restrained. Even the color on this is very much alive, bricking only a bit at the rim. Really quite lovely all the way around. 5-13-17-9: 94/100.

Isn't it great that there are some folks out there who don't just follow the herd and do what all other Chateaux do? Nice way to get yourself a competitive advantage over the other guys, especially if you don't own the most hallowed vineyards. I liked the first bottle, but the second seemed almost incredible.
