April 26, 2023 - Bienvenue a Champagne; 4/20/2023-4/29/2023 (Les Crayeres, various restaurants, Les Avises and a many wonderful producers): I’m not 100% sure this release has made it to the US yet or at least we haven’t seen it as much as the 2012 that’s been around. Interesting because all of the hype for many years has been around the ‘08 and I don’t remember anyone telling us we need to look out for the ‘13 but on this trip we’re hearing it a lot more. A vintage that is meant to be very long lasting. Earlier in the day we’d tried the Rare ‘13 and here again there’s just a great acid backbone to these wines. Really young and needs a lot more time. But overall great stuffing.

4/29/23, 10:17 AM - I purchased a bottle of this on January 20 this year so it is definitely available in the US. Great note - I intend to hold my single bottle for at least 10 years at 55F given your note and others.
