Community Tasting Note

July 29, 2023 - 20 People Bring a Bottle (Good, The Bad & The Ugly) (Edina, MN): Not only are the labels stupid on Orin Swift Wines the juice inside the bottle is much worse. Other than Caymus who gets more for their juice. These are bulk grapes at best in these bottles with some Mega Purple thrown in. Sweet, watered down, brown sugar and damp earth. Again when people rate these are you applying the tasting process correctly? Love the appellation of California on these.

But then again the world of wine takes all tastes.
    Be well.

11/19/23, 5:29 PM - I love this wine - I didn’t find it watered down or sweet at all. The acidity was well balanced with the fruit

11/24/23, 2:49 PM - Well at least we agree on the 2004 Oliverhill Shiraz. I don't buy these wines so only taste them at parties. Old World palates for sure don't drink them either so that is why so many good ratings.
