    September 10, 2023 - This was excellent. Dark chocolate covered cherry with bitter cocoa, pencil lead and a long penetrating finish with balanced acidity and concealed alcohol. Brooding and quite good.

    9/12/23, 8:16 PM - Nice note. Give it more time though? Loved the quality of fruit earlier in the year but I thought it clearly needed more time to soften/develop further.

    9/13/23, 10:33 AM - It improved with air, but was perfectly enjoyable to me now. A lot of 18s have a slightly darker fruit profile and this was no exception. It's really well balanced and sure, could probably age a long time into the future, but I don't see a particular reason to hold. I would decant it next time though.
