10/21/23, 5:27 AM - Not sure of your question about origin? I have always heard sister estate and made by the same team. Was Capbern the original vineyard for Calon? Regardless, I have enjoyed many of them over the years going back to 82.

2/9/24, 8:47 PM - The original vineyard for Calon-Segur is Calon-Segur. In 2012 the same owners bought Chateau Capbern Gasqueton, which had been in the Gasqueton family for ten generations. The two estates were not related prior to 2012.
