January 21, 2024 - It's A Boy! Just kidding! (Mi Casa): Last bottle. Hitting all the right notes for me and I would guess, for most of the guests in attendance. Honey, baked apple pie with a flaky, buttery crust, lemon preserves. I am a big fan of Lauren. IMO, drink now.

1/21/24, 1:06 PM - Nice story Brian! How long did you guys decant the Cabernets for, or were they PnP?

  • bsumoba commented:

1/21/24, 5:30 PM - PnP and followed over a couple hours. It probably hit its stride after about an hour in glass

1/21/24, 5:38 PM - I asked the question here, but was talking about the Cabs, not the Chard! Same treatment for all wines?

  • bsumoba commented:

1/21/24, 6:03 PM - Yes, same treatment for all. All but the Eisele were ready to go. Eisele never really strut itself this time around. Maybe sleepy phase or just simply needs more time in bottle or a very healthy decant.
