  March 20, 2024 - Second chance tasting in the past month or so. This time without food, and no aeration. Very much a solid wine, and especially for the price. There is a nice amount of refined upfront red and dark fruit. Last time I thought it was young and rustic. This time I think the acid is just slightly out of balance, and possibly manipulated. The young tannins leave a dryness on the palate, that almost any bite of food like a cracker or cheese would balance out.
