April 22, 2024 - Wines Before / At / After a Passover Seder (The Krengels - Bannockburn IL): This had been opened and decanted 6+ hours in advance, and still clearly needs more time. Ripe black berries, well spiced, with traces of liqueur and preserves. Lots of fruit, spice, energy, and structure in near harmony, but with great potential. I'd give this until at least 2030 to show its full potential.
