Small glass. Wonderfully bright, lots of energy, such wonderful balance with plenty of floral support for its orchard fruit. Great place now.

Small glass. Stone and orchard fruits, well spiced, faintly floral. Richness is clearly starting to soften, this is still charming but not at its level from a few years back.

Very oxidized

This had been opened a few days earlier and was disappointing at that time, tonight it seemed slightly heat damaged in some way.

Small glass. Spiced start with bright black fruits. Nicely accessible for this fairly inaccessible 2018 vintage, this has good depth and already good focus.

This had been opened and decanted 6+ hours in advance, and still clearly needs more time. Ripe black berries, well spiced, with traces of liqueur and preserves. Lots of fruit, spice, energy, and structure in near harmony, but with great potential. I'd give this until at least 2030 to show its full potential.

Black and red cherry with good weight and meaty hints, just not what I want or expect from Grand Cru in a great vintage.

Popped and poured, there is so much here, just not yet fully accessible, and not yet fun. Dense and chewy black fruits, meaty and gamy with backward structure. An hour+ of air would have helped. Better from 2028, 92-95 point potential.
