  October 2, 2009 - Yquem "great years" tasting (Seinpost (Scheveningen, The Netherlands)): Quite a surprise, I had no idea 1986 belongs to the truly great years of d'Yquem. But it was great even considering its place in the impressive line-up of d'Yquem: 55, 67, 71, 75, 76, 86, 88, 89, 90, 97, 99, 01. Though not just as great as the greatest vintages, in my opinion 01 - 67 - 88, still outstanding.
