  December 3, 2009 - Popped and poured. Very friendly and pretty fruit-forward nose, bursting with warm red berries and a hint of minerality. I'd guess this as a cru Beaujolais from that, although there's a slightly candied ripe edge to it. On the palate, zesty acidity and light-medium tannins and body. Still heavy on primary fruits, but with a nice mineral edge and some spice. Delivers decent goods for $12.
